Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP seeks an Estate Litigation Associate to join the Trusts & Estates team in a hybrid role, with court appearances in metro-New York and Long Island counties. You will work with skilled attorneys, handle research, drafting, discovery, and increasingly assume client matters.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of estate litigation experience, strong judgment, and a desire to become an excellent advocate within a collaborative, tech-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Required: J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar (NJ Bar admission or pending preferred).
• 1–4 years of legal experience, estate litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estate and trust litigation in NY State Surrogate's Court and other courts.
• Conduct legal research on SCPA, EPTL, and related statutes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, discovery requests/responses, and related documents.
