Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting focusing on individual clients and corporate trusts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to groups.
• Expertise in transfer tax and estate planning.
• Experience with flow-through entities and private foundations.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in business development and networking.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and review estate and business succession documents.
• Conduct technical research on estate planning and compliance.
• Assist clients with varying levels of estate planning knowledge.
• Assess tax situations to maximize benefits for individuals and estates.
• Implement planning processes based on cash flow, income distribution, and succession.
• Manage client relationships and proactively add value.
• Prepare marketing materials and present webinars.
• Prepare gift, estate, and fiduciary tax returns.
• Ensure returns are completed correctly by deadlines and per firm processes.
• Coach and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with Wealth Transition Services team.
