Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Gardener to perform core horticultural tasks across the estate, including planting, pruning, and landscape upkeep. This full-time role offers a pathway to contribute to guest experiences on 1,300+ acres of gardens and vineyards.

• Degree in horticulture or demonstrable experience in horticultural management.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Good multitasking and professional demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform core horticultural tasks including planting, watering, weeding, pruning, edging, mulching, and general landscape upkeep across estate grounds.
• Support care, installation, and renewal of garden beds, borders, and display areas.
• Maintain interior and exterior plant health through monitoring and basic diagnostics.
• Assist with greenhouse operations for vegetable production and seasonal preparation.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment; report maintenance needs promptly.
• Collaborate with grounds team on seasonal projects and event-related grounds prep.
• Participate in weather-related tasks such as snow removal and storm cleanup.
