Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and NY bar admission.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Estate Attorney.
• Experience handling Surrogate's Court, probate, estate administration, and fiduciary appointments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee estate-related matters to advance litigation and settlements.
• Draft, review, and oversee Surrogate's Court petitions and supporting documentation.
• Attend Surrogate's Court appearances across New York State.
• Monitor estate proceedings and ensure timely decrees.
• Analyze and coordinate with stakeholders for court approvals in wrongful death and related actions.
• Manage multi‑jurisdictional estate matters and supervise the Estates Department.
