Job summary

Caring Transitions in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking an Estate & Move Team Manager for part-time, non-exempt work to lead coordination, sorting, staging of items for estate sales, online auctions, and relocation services across East Stroudsburg and surrounding towns.

The ideal candidate shows strong management and auction/online selling experience, is reliable, compassionate, physically capable, and can pass a background check. You must have a cell phone, transportation, and GPS for travel.

Qualifications

• Management experience in estate sales or similar operations.
• Experience with online auctions and selling platforms (eBay).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sorting & organizing client items (keep, sell, donate, discard).
• Planning use of space for new homes.
• Packing – carefully wrapping and boxing items.
• Overseeing movers, ensuring items are moved and resettled as planned.
• Online estate sales: creating lots, photographing, writing descriptions, listing on Caring Transitions online auction site and other platforms (eBay).
• Managing pickup days (usually Saturdays).
• Processing leftover items (donation, trash, cleaning floors/vacuuming).
• Cleanouts, including light hoarding situations – require compassion and understanding.

Job Overview

Estate & Move Team Manager (General Labor – Non‑exempt/Part‑time) – Title: Help Seniors Relocate, Part Time. We are seeking an individual with management and auction/online selling experience to lead coordination, sorting, staging of items for estate sales, online auctions, and relocation services throughout East Stroudsburg and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidates are friendly, customer‑service oriented, physically fit (repetitive lifting & bending, dusty/dirty environments), empathetic, honest, reliable, and can pass a criminal background check. You must have a cell phone, reliable transportation and GPS/Google Maps for travel.

Hours are as needed with no guaranteed minimum. Must be available weekdays and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Sorting & organizing client items (keep, sell, donate, discard).

Schedule & Compensation

• Part‑time – 4‑hour or 8‑hour shifts.
• Day shift.
• Monday to Friday & weekend availability.

Pay: $17.00 per hour.

Job locations include Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Mount Pocono, Hawley, Milford and surrounding towns.
