Estate & Administrative Trust (ONESOURCE), Tax Senior Associate - Remote

Join KPMG US as a Tax Senior Associate, Estate and Administrative Trust. Be part of a dynamic team at one of the top tax firms, working remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates, including Form 1041, Form 706, Form 706-GS(T), Form 8971, and Form 1040 for decedents.
• Manage a book of business and supervise tax return preparation by associates.
• Utilize Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and other technologies for client service.
• Proactively communicate with management on potential issues and contribute to team’s tax technical knowledge.
• Respond to IRS inquiries and stay updated on tax developments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience with tax returns for trusts and estates.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields; accounting/taxation preferred.
• Must have or be pursuing CPA or EA licensure; educational requirements should be completed prior to employment start.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code related to trusts and estates.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and manage accounts.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
