Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review, and analyze fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates, including Form 1041, Form 706, Form 706-GS(T), Form 8971, and Form 1040 for decedents.
2. Manage a book of business and supervise tax return preparation by associates.
3. Utilize advanced platforms and technologies for client service delivery.
4. Communicate proactively with management to resolve issues and enhance technical skills.
5. Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries.
6. Stay updated on tax developments and data maintenance.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of public accounting experience with trusts and estates tax returns.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields; accounting/taxation preferred.
• Working towards or possessing CPA or EA licensure; educational requirements should be completed prior to or shortly after starting.
• Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code related to trusts and estates.
• Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
