Job summary

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Specialist to support programming, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of commercial fire alarm and life-safety systems in the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate has hands-on EST3/EST4 programming experience and can work with customers, installation teams, and subcontractors.

The role requires 3+ years of fire alarm experience, strong electrical reading skills, and the ability to travel locally to project sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with fire alarm systems.
• Hands-on EST3 / EST4 programming experience required.
• Experience with fire alarm installation, service, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, test, and commission fire alarm systems.
• Perform EST3 and EST4 programming and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot fire alarm panels, devices, SLC loops, NAC circuits, and related equipment.
• Verify alarm, supervisory, trouble, annunciation, and sequence-of-operation functions.
• Support installation teams and subcontractors at project sites.
• Perform system startups, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve programming, electrical, and installation issues.
• Provide customer support and explain system operation.
• Prepare programming documentation, service reports, commissioning documents, and system backups.
• Assist with as-built documentation and project turnover.
• Ensure systems comply with applicable fire and life-safety codes and project specifications.
