Job description

The primary responsibility is to develop a substantial and perennial revenues growth in the assigned territory and to deliver solid results as per the corporate objectives. It will require to lead, manage, develop, and leverage all Sales and Support functions of the specific organization in alignment with the company strategy and policies.

Main Responsibility

Accountable to deliver on P&L budget and to deploy the corporate strategy. Recommend any market strategy, sales plan, marketing initiatives and organization improvement to achieve the sales objectives as well as to develop globally the business (growth oriented). Plan market development activities and cost-effective operations. Build up and maintain excellent relations with existing customers and the market to secure high satisfaction and reputation. Build up and maintain a stimulating work environment for all direct reports and enable positive teamwork culture with all other corporate functions.

Main tasks
  • Strongly lead and manage all Sales activities and their expected deliverables (leads-to-orders).
  • Build a solid pipeline of sales opportunities, from prospects and suspects, to nurture future business growth and secure strong closing capabilities.
  • Coordinate with corporate Marketing for all specific initiatives and campaigns to generate quality leads and create awareness and interest in the company value proposition.
  • Market the company products and services following the corporate pricing and T&Cs policies.
  • Deploy high standards Service activities to secure high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Resolve any possible claims with a strong customer orientation but preserving the company interests.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with corporate Order Processing for lead times, service quotes, clean bookings, invoicing and cash collection.
  • Report on regular basis about the operations in Sales (forecast, initiatives), Services (claims) and Marketing (initiatives) as well as on Bookings/Billings/Backlog and P&L monthly status.
  • Visit key prospects and customers on a regular basis and secure a good field activities level by the Sales organization.
  • Secure equipment demonstrations capabilities for potential customers in all the company demos centers.
  • Secure the appropriate training for all direct reports.
  • Attend national and regional exhibitions as well as seminars and sales meeting.
  • Secure a good teamwork with all stakeholders within the company (USA, Switzerland).
  • Apply all corporate processes and policies.
Secondary tasks
  • Collect and report any intelligence on competition.
  • Collect and report any intelligence on market trends.
  • Propose any improvements on the go-to-market strategy.
  • Propose any inputs for the product roadmap.
  • Escalate any issues which require attention.
Requirements
  • Good SMD market experience
  • Good capital equipment business experience
  • Strong Sales experience and proven capabilities to close against serious competition
  • Fair technical background to align with the market demand
  • Strong leadership in managing people
  • Experience with multiple cultures and global business
  • 50%+ travels
