Floyd County Schools Betsy Layne Elementary School in Betsy Layne, Kentucky seeks an ESS Tutor to provide intensive academic and personal development support for assigned students. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or G.E.D.

REPORTS TO: Principal

JOB GOAL: Provides intensive academic and personal development

assistance to assigned students.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Maximum of 16 hours per week. Salarydetermined by number of college hours earned.

EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the district evaluation plan.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists students in developing study skills.
• Works as a liaison between the student and teacher.
• Maintains tutorial records for individual students.
• Works to establish and maintain a positive rapport with students.
• Assists students with improving academic self-confidence.
