Job summary

ESS Substitute Teacher in Bethany, CT for Bethany Public Schools is seeking a substitute teacher to assist with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher. You will follow and teach lesson plans, aid students in understanding subject matter, and ensure that regular classroom routines are followed.

You will support a safe and orderly classroom environment, review routines and curricula, and report student injuries or disciplinary issues to administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• CT/FBI background clearance is required.
• Child abuse/neglect registry clearance is required.
• Education employment verification per Act 16-67.

Responsibilities
