Job summary

ESS is seeking a Substitute Special Education Teacher to join our team in Waterbury, CT. The role involves assisting with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher and following and teaching lesson plans within K-12 settings.

Qualifications

  • Clearance for DCF Child Abuse and Neglect Registry.

An ESS substitute special education teacher assists with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher. This person follows and teaches lesson plans, aids students in understanding subject matter, and ensures that regular classroom routines are followed.
