Position Summary

The Energy Storage System (ESS) Operatoris responsible forsupporting the assembly, operation, and basic troubleshooting of energy storage systems. This role requires foundational electrical knowledge, the ability to follow assembly procedures, and a strong commitment to quality and workplace organization.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical position
• Basic understanding of electrical components (e.g., wiring, connectors, circuits)
• Ability to read and follow simple electrical and mechanical drawings
• Proficient in using standard hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, battery systems, or electrical assembly
• Exposure to renewable energy or energy storage systems
• Basic troubleshooting or diagnostic experienceStrong attention to detail
• Ability to follow work instructions and standardized procedures
• Understanding of 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

Physical Requirements/ Work Environment

• Lift, carry, push, pull, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds, as required by the position.
• Safely operate machinery, tools, and equipment in accordance with established operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Perform essential production tasks requiring coordinated use of both hands, including gripping, grasping, handling, positioning, and securing materials and equipment in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• This is a 2 nd shift position. 2 nd shift is Monday- Friday 3PM-11:30PM.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

Expected Pay Range

$24 - $24 USD
