Job Description

This position is paid from ESS allocations, so it is funded for the 2026-2027 school year only.

Assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups; monitor and report student progress.

Position Details

• Hours: 3 hours per day
• Contract Length: 154 student instructional days
• Contract Adjustments:Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date
• Employment Status:Part time (not eligible for benefits)
• Employment Type:10-month employee on the classified pay schedule
• Qualifications & Requirements
• Education:Musthave at least 64 college credits and a 2.5 GPA.
• Documentation:Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.
• Compensation & Experience Credit
• Starting Pay (Step 0):$24.63/hour
• Experienced Pay (Step 10):$26.97/hour
• Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
• Salary Formula: Hours per day × Hourly rate = Daily rate Daily rate × Contracted days = Annual salary. Annual salary ÷ Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay

New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
