Job summary

The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center is seeking a friendly Coffee Shop Barista to prepare and serve specialty coffee and related items for guests and staff.

You will take orders, operate the POS, maintain pastry stock, keep the espresso bar clean, and work closely with other baristas to ensure smooth service. High school diploma preferred; prior customer service experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience delivering friendly customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively with baristas and staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and enter them into POS.
• Brew and prepare coffee beverages as ordered.
• Stock pastries and replenish as needed.
• Ring up orders on the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness of the espresso bar.
• Greet guests and provide assistance.
• Complete daily food/beverage requisitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
