Job summary

Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus seeks a Head Coach to support its varsity Esports team for the 2026-2027 school year. This temporary, seasonal position is paid via a one-time stipend of $2,215.00 at season end.

The coach will lead practices, develop players, and ensure performance aligned with KS values. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year coaching experience, and NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to relate with students, staff and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with coordination of the athletics program for esports.
• Coach, instruct, and develop student-athletes and teams.
• Plan and conduct structured practices and games; ensure ethical conduct and professionalism.
• Develop team concept within the values-driven KS framework and promote sportsmanship.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, staff, and the community; manage administrative tasks as needed.
