University of Michigan Flint is seeking a student/work-study Broadcasting and Streaming Assistant for the Esports program. Shifts will occur evenings and weekends, with activities primarily during fall and winter semesters.

The role involves operating broadcasting software, setting up cameras and microphones, and producing live broadcasts or recordings for later use, with on-the-job training provided for all software and processes.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student at UM-Flint
• Available to work evenings and weekends, (matches/streams occur at 7/8pm to at most 11pm)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcasting software and manage streaming platforms for esports broadcasts
• Edit videos for YouTube and other social platforms; training will be provided
• Manage images in the Esports Lab; training provided in all areas
• Assist in various program needs based on expertise of applicants
