Job summary

DSG is hiring a Warehouse Associate in the Grand Rapids, MN location. This full-time, hourly role focuses on warehouse operations including order pulling, packing, shipping & receiving, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Typical duties include operating forklifts and RF scanners, labeling and stocking goods, and ensuring accuracy of inventory. Strong teamwork, reliability, and physical stamina are essential for success in this ESOP-driven company.

Qualifications

• Basic product and warehouse knowledge
• Organizational skills and task prioritization
• Safety training on material handling and forklift driving
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Prior computer knowledge and skills

Responsibilities

• Pull material from location to fill each order
• Pack, label and place orders for delivery
• Operate gas and electric forklifts and riders
• Cut and measure wire to length, tag and rack
• Operate pipe machine and ensure proper length and depth
• Sweep, mop and maintain clean shelves and floors
• Use RF scanner to track status and location of products
• Notify inventory control about shortages or overages
• Inspect trucks before delivery and report issues
• Support Receiving as workload permits
• Communicate with fellow employees regarding loading and issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
