Job summary

DSG Supply in Alexandria, MN is looking for a Warehouse Associate for a full-time, hourly role. Typical hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday through Thursday, and 7am - 4pm on Friday. You will pull orders, pack and ship, operate forklifts, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

• Basic product and warehouse knowledge typically gained in 1–3 years of applicable experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized.
• Safety training on material handling and forklift driving.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Prior computer knowledge and familiarity with basic systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull material from location to fill each order.
• Pack, label and place filled orders in proper locations for delivery.
• Operate gas and electric forklifts and riders.
• Use RF scanner to check status, availability and location of product.
• Notify inventory control about shortages or overages in inventory.
• Load delivery trucks and assist Receiving as workload permits.
• Inspect trucks before delivery to ensure road readiness and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
