Taleo is seeking an ESOL Paraeducator to support ESL students across elementary to high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves assisting classroom teachers, supporting individual or small groups, and helping modify activities to meet diverse student needs.

The position emphasizes data collection and progress tracking, collaboration with teachers and families, and adherence to district guidelines. On-site duties include classroom supervision and learning center support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Paras working in a Title School must have a minimum of 48 accredited college credits verifiable with a transcript or pass a state approved assessment.
• Demonstrate proficiency and literacy skills in another language (for jobs defined as bilingual only)

Responsibilities

• Assist students under direct supervision of classroom teacher.
• Assist students and reinforce concepts for individuals or small groups.
• Modify activities to meet individual student's needs and develop academic language.
• Perform assessment activities after training by ESOL or district staff.
• Assist teachers in monitoring, data collection, and maintaining records regarding student performance and progress.
• Maintain learning areas and instructional materials.
