Tarrant County College District (TCCD) invites applications for Adjunct Instructor, ESOL at Northeast Campus. The role supports student success through instruction across Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online, and Weekend College formats.

The candidate will prepare lessons using the College Master Syllabus, engage with students, and contribute to assessment of student learning outcomes, under supervision of the NE Languages department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English or a related field such as Education, Reading, Linguistics, TESOL, Language Arts.
• Graduate hours in Developmental Education in Education/Reading/Linguistics/TESOL/Language Arts.
• Related teaching or training experience in one or more of Education, Reading, Linguistics, TESOL, Language Arts.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes across varied schedules and modalities (Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online, Weekend College).
• Prepare and deliver instruction using the College Master Syllabus and LMS.
• Communicate regularly with students and college officials; respond to emails and meetings.
• Prepare assignments and assessments to meet learning outcomes; maintain attendance records.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in English

Graduate hours in Developmental Education

Related teaching experience in Education/Reading/Linguistics/TESOL/Language Arts
