Blue Diamond Growers is seeking an Electronic Sorting Machine (ESM) Operator to ensure efficient product flow and correct sorting. You will monitor and adjust ESM equipment to meet production standards and perform daily setup and data entry for process tests.

The role requires basic math, reading safety and operation instructions, and the ability to work overtime and weekends. You will join a manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on HACCP/GMP compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work instructions.
• Basic math skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsabilités

• Make adjustments to Electronic Sorting Machines to meet efficiency and quality requirements.
• Conduct tests as required by each process and enter data into the computer.
• Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure standards are met.
• Perform daily setup of equipment.
• frequently clean equipment and surrounding areas for efficient operation.
• May operate various ESM Machines; monitor bin levels.
• Relieve MPL bin tenders during breaks and lunches.
• Contribute within a team environment to production improvements.
• Adhere to Blue Diamond HACCP, GMPs and safety practices.
• Perform other tasks as assigned, including cross-training.

This position monitors and adjusts electronic sorting equipment, ensuring that production standards are met.RESPONSIBILITIES:Makes various adjustments to Electronic Sorting Machines to ensure efficient operation and quality requirements are met.Conduct tests as required by each process and enter data into computer.Operates and adjusts production equipment keeping constantly alert to operating functions ensuring that production standards are met.Perform daily setup of equipment.Frequently clean equipment and surrounding areas as necessary for efficient operation.May operate various types of ESM Machines. Monitors bin levels. Relieves MPL bin tenders during breaks and lunches.Contribute within a team environment leading to production improvements.Must understand and adhere to Blue Diamond HACCP process and auditing, Good Manufacturing procedures (GMPs) and safety practices.Required to perform other tasks as assigned by management, such as cross training other employees.undefinedWHAT YOU NEED*Minimum qualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.1+ years machine operating experiencePosition requires knowledge of machine operation to keep machinery and equipment operating.Works under general supervision and receives assignments from supervisor, lead operator and line operators.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations, maintenance instructions and work schedules.Must have basic math skills.Requires the ability to identify problems and assist in problem solving.Must be able to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions.
