Responsibilities

• Management of Instructional Time: have materials ready, start class promptly, keep students on task.
• Management of Student Behavior: establish rules, supervise transitions, monitor behavior with dignity.
• Instructional Presentation: present clearly, provide examples, pace appropriately, ensure clarity of assignments.
• Instructional Monitoring of Student Performance: monitor student work, check progress regularly.
• Instructional Feedback: provide prompt feedback on in-class and out-of-class work, encourage growth.
• Facilitating Instruction: align objectives with goals, use diagnostic info to revise tasks, keep good records.
• Interacting Within the Educational Environment: treat all students fairly, interact with parents and community.
• Performing Non-Instructional Duties: perform related duties, follow laws and policies.
