Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Act as a liaison between students, school staff, and family.
• Administer state required assessments.
• Schedule and deliver instruction aligned to LIEP matrix.
• Maintain student data, records, and documentation.
• Design and deliver ESL instruction based on the WIDA Standards.
• Attend parent/teacher conferences for English Learners.
• Collaborate with regular education teachers to share instructional strategies for English Learners.
• Design and deliver parent engagement activities at the school site(s).
• Design and deliver professional development at the school site(s) that supports English Learners.
