Job summary

Winnsboro ISD's Winnsboro High School is seeking an ESL paraprofessional to support English learners in the classroom. The position is a 10-month, full-time paraprofessional role starting immediately, with ongoing collaboration with Spanish-speaking students and teachers.

Candidates should be bilingual in Spanish and English, able to read, write, and speak Spanish well, and ready to assist in instructional activities.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in Spanish.
• Must exhibit the ability to work well with Spanish teachers and students in a classroom setting.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support ESL students in the classroom and assist teachers with instructional activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff in Spanish and English as needed.
• Help manage classroom materials and maintain a positive learning environment.

Motivated ESL (English as Second Language) paraprofessional wanted.

Contract: 10 month at-will paraprofessional.
