Sampson County Schools' Midway Elementary in Dunn, North Carolina seeks a Teacher Assistant for the ESL and Migrant Education Program. This role supports English language learners and migrant students within classroom activities and program initiatives.

You will help with instructional materials, track participation and program documentation, and assist staff in delivering targeted language development. Duties include collaboration with ESL teachers and coordinators.

Competenze

• Associate degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college or university.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Bus license required within the first year of employment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities for ESL and migrant students.
• Provide small-group or one-on-one support to help students improve English language development, literacy, and academic skills.
• Reinforce lessons introduced by the teacher and help students complete assignments.
• Support students in understanding classroom instructions and learning materials while encouraging participation and positive behavior.
• Obtain/maintain a bus license and drive a bus when needed.
