Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of five years teaching experience.
• Hold a valid NC teaching license in ESL.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides training and coaching to classroom and ESL teachers through workshops and co-planning.
• Differentiates instruction and assessment for ELs based on NC ELD ES/WIDA and SIOP.
• Creates model lessons for ESL and content-area teachers using SIOP and ExC-ELL.
• Develops and conducts differentiated staff development activities for identified schools.
• Uses data management systems to inform instructional practice and professional development.
• Leads Summer Language Development opportunities.
• Oversees implementation of digital tools for ESL instruction and trainer support.
