Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach classes as assigned and per course syllabi.
• Supervise students' study and learning activities.
• Submit requests for equipment, supplies, and textbooks through department head or lead teacher.
• Evaluate the academic progress of students.
• Demonstrate knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures per Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
• Submit course grades and perform other administrative duties.
• Schedule two office hours; provide a written plan if office hours cannot be scheduled; office hours not paid in summer.

Master’s degree or higher in English as a Second Language (ESL) teaching field
