GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to accurately select and pack groceries and merchandise ordered online by Harmons’ customers. This person will receive and check incoming orders, locate and gather the products from inside the store in a timely manner, and ensure that all orders are ready for customer pickup with attention to quality and freshness. This position is to increase direct website use by delivering an exceptional customer service experience. This person will respond to customers’ orders and inquiries, review requests, contact customers to clarify orders ensuring all necessary information is included, and may route questions to the appropriate department. This person will ensure the friendly delivery of Harmons’ products to customers, loading deliveries onto delivery vehicle, delivering to customers’ homes and workplaces, all while providing excellent customer assistance via email support and phone support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services delivered
• Receive and check incoming eShop orders
• Assemble orders as necessary to match individual eShop invoices
• Review and inspect orders ensuring that the correct specifications have been met
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Provide customer support efforts by using product knowledge
• Constantly be in touch with the daily updates and requirements of the customers
• Helps ensure product descriptions are accurate by communicating opportunities to support team
• Increase traffic to the website and strengthen Harmons’ customer loyalty
• Contacts customers to clarify requests
• Provide continuous improvement to website conversations and customer engagement
• Responsible for being an alert and courteous driver at all times
• Checks delivery invoice against what is being loaded into the delivery vehicle
• Scan each label/bag to insure all the customers’ groceries are being loaded into the delivery vehicle
• Makes deliveries to customers’ homes and workplaces
• Loads products to be delivered
• Performs a monthly fuel reconciliation
• Performs basic cleaning and maintenance on equipment such as totes, coolers, and crates used for deliveries, the delivery van, and its shelves etc.
• Shop a minimum of 100 units per hour
• Multitask by shopping for multiple orders at the same time
• Label temperature-controlled products correctly and store in the correct bags to ensure food safety
• Ensure customers receive all items by scanning each label before placing in customers’ vehicles
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Sets a professional and positive example to others
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of eShop department as a whole

• Must possess Harmons’ Forklift Certification
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
