Job summary

PBF Energy is seeking an ESG Specialist to develop and execute environmental, social, and governance initiatives across our refinery sites. The position is onsite at multiple facilities in the United States, including Toledo, OH; Martinez, CA; and Paulsboro, NJ, with duties spanning data management and reporting.

You will lead site ESG committees, publish ESG material, support data audits, and coordinate with site teams.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Communications, Environmental Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of sustainability experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of data management or database applications.
  • Experience with multiple social media platforms and account management.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Travel up to 15–30% as required.

Overview

ESG Specialist at PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF), one of the largest independent refiners in North America, will play a pivotal role in developing and executing environmental, social, and governance initiatives across our refinery sites. The position is located onsite at one of the following facilities: Toledo, OH; Martinez, CA; or Paulsboro, NJ.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of the environmental data management tool.
  • Lead the site‑level ESG committees and coordinate activities with all site groups to advance ESG objectives.
  • Manage and report all site‑level ESG metrics.
  • Provide support for regulatory ESG data audits.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $61,360.00 – $103,335.70, in compliance with applicable state law. Compensation will reflect scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and internal equity. PBF offers a comprehensive benefits package.
