Job summary

Sustainable Fitch, part of Fitch Solutions, seeks an Analyst for our New York Office to drive ESG-focused credit research and sustainability assessments. You will work within a team evaluating environmental, social, and governance factors across entities and debt instruments.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical environmental, social, governance or economics/finance field.
• 1–3 years in sustainability and knowledge of market themes and international taxonomies.
• Basic financial literacy and data handling.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with time-prioritisation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply Sustainable Fitch’s methodologies and ESG impact assessment to a broad range of products.
• Deliver high-quality, timely written analysis backed by verified data.
• Monitor a portfolio of companies daily.
• Keep up to date with global sustainability trends and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with colleagues globally to share knowledge.
