Job summary

The State of South Carolina is seeking an Emergency Solutions Grant Coordinator in Columbia, SC to ensure ESG subrecipients follow regulations and assist with grants and proposals.

The role collaborates with program directors, monitors expenditures, and provides technical assistance while maintaining program documentation. A bachelor’s degree and related experience are required, with substitutions allowed for relevant experience.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and business, personnel, grant‑in‑aid or public administration experience.
• Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Applicants may bring transcripts to the interview or upload them if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ESG subgrantee project applications and guidelines for compliance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with CoCs and HMIS personnel across CoCs.
• Conduct field visits and prepare reports on operations, services and objectives.
• Review subgrantee budgets, applications, service plans and reimbursements.
• Provide technical assistance and training to subgrantees on ESG activities.
• Review and rank ESG applications as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
