Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must be Certified with the Florida Department of Education in: ESE K-12 and Elem Ed K-6 or ESE K-12 or Elem Ed 1-6.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Process: plans and implements a program of instruction meeting district goals and student needs.
• Curriculum Development: stays current in subject matter and learning theory; assists in curriculum revision and selection of materials.
• Classroom Management: establishes rules and discipline; ensures supervision and safety.
• Public Relations: maintains professional conduct; communicates positively with the public and parents.
• Professional Growth: participates in workshops and inservice training; maintains professional memberships.
• Student Evaluation: uses multiple assessment methods; adjusts instruction based on results and maintains confidentiality.
