Job summary

Global Leadership Academy is seeking a dedicated ESE Teacher for the Intercoastal Campus. The role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and collaboration with families and staff.

The ideal candidate will develop and monitor IEPs, differentiate instruction, and promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success in an inclusive learning environment. In-person, 10-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Florida ESE Certification or eligibility for Florida certification.
• Knowledge of IEP development, accommodations, progress monitoring, and compliance requirements.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and implement appropriate interventions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and support personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with exceptional learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student goals, accommodations, and learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusion and student achievement.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
• Conduct progress monitoring and participate in IEP meetings.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and support plans.
• Foster a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in developing academic, behavioral, and socialemotional skills.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, PLCs, and schoolwide initiatives.
• Collaborate with school leadership, academic support staff, and related service providers to meet student needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and school procedures.
