Job summary

Hillsborough County Public Schools is seeking an ESE Specialist to provide site-based support across curriculum, instruction, behavior, compliance, and program decisions for students with disabilities. You will collaborate with school teams, families, and district staff to ensure FAPE and improved outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three years of increasingly responsible and effective teaching experience with students with disabilities.
• Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Exceptional Student Education.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents and students to support FAPE.

Responsibilities

• Provides site-based support and direct instruction for students with disabilities as needed.
• Assists with organization, management and coordination of supports and services.
• Collaborates with the school team to implement data collection, inclusive practices and responsive instructional decisions.
• Designs and delivers job-embedded professional development on curriculum, behavior and compliance.
