Job summary

WOODLAND ELEMENTARY in Zephyrhills, FL seeks an Instructional Assistant IA, Student Support in the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) program for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher, you will help provide an organized classroom and access to instructional resources.

Requirements include an Associate degree or 60 college hours, or a qualifying score on the ParaPro Assessment; district trainings and health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 semester hours required for paraprofessional role.
• Pass ParaPro Assessment with qualifying score; training may be provided.
• All employees must complete required trainings and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher(s) in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.
• Support ESE and DJJ programs as applicable.
• Help implement instructional program and utilize available resources.

Education

Associate degree in Education or related field
