Job summary

Polk County Public Schools in Bartow, FL, is seeking an ESE Facilitator to provide site-based support for students with disabilities, coordinating with teachers, staff, and families to ensure FAPE.

You will schedule IEPs, align supports with IDEA, design job-embedded professional development, and help improve graduation outcomes through data-driven instruction and collaboration with administrators and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Florida Teaching Certificate in ESE preferred.
• 3–5 years of successful classroom experience in special education.
• Experience with IEPs, IDEA compliance, and data-driven instruction.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and conducts IEP meetings and eligibility staffing.
• Provides site-based support for students with disabilities based on IEPs.
• Assists with organization and coordination of supports and services.
• Collaborates with teachers and paraprofessionals to implement data collection and responsive instruction.
• Designs and delivers job-embedded professional development with ESE leadership.
• Ensures compliance with IDEA, state statutes, and FTE reporting.
• Communicates with parents, teachers and district staff to support student success.
• Serves as liaison between school, parents, and community groups.
