Job summary

BridgePrep Academy Miami Gardens is seeking a dual-impact ESE Coordinator & ESOL Teacher in a hybrid role. You will deliver targeted language instruction to Multilingual Learners while leading campus-wide ESE compliance, including IEP timelines, audits, and service minute tracking.

This position requires a Florida Teaching Certificate with ESE and ESOL endorsements, plus Level 2 background screening. Expect two weeks beyond the academic calendar for compliance setup and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Florida Teaching Certificate with ESE Certification and ESOL Certification/Endorsement.
• Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening.
• Three professional references including one former manager.

Salary Range: $56,607.00 To $74,348.00 Annually

Compensation:$56,607.00 – $74,348.00

(Base starting rate includes referendums, supplements, and bonuses based on experience/degree)

About the Role

BridgePrep Academy Miami Gardens is seeking a dual-impact ESE Coordinator & ESOL Teacher. This hybrid position combines targeted language instruction for Multilingual Learners with campus-wide Special Education (ESE) compliance leadership.

This role includes two extra weeks outside the regular academic calendar dedicated to ESE compliance setup, caseload reviews, and audit prep.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching: Deliver small-group and individualized instruction to ESE and ESOL students; implement required accommodations and language scaffolds (WIDA/ACCESS aligned).

Compliance & Leadership: Manage IEP timelines, reevaluations, file audits, and service minute tracking to maintain 100% state and federal compliance.

Coordination: Partner with general education teachers, related service providers (Speech, OT, etc.), and parents to support student progress.
