Qualifications

• Requires Para Pro Assessment score or an AA/AS degree or 60-hour equivalent.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents.
• Knowledge of procedures for supporting ESE students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising students and school-wide tasks as assigned.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions as required.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene including diapering, toileting, feeding, and medical tasks.
• Perform clerical duties such as copying, filing, recording, and data collection.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a safe learning and workplace environment.
• Assist staff with behavioral management and development of instructional materials.
• Assist with preparation of accurate records and reports and assess student progress.
• Communicate effectively with staff and parents and maintain confidentiality.
