Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to assist in instruction in core subjects as verified by ParaPro.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and aids.
• Schedule space for specialized instructional programs and arrange equipment.
• Assist in modifications of the curriculum to align with each student’s IEP.
• Provide one-on-one support and line-of-sight supervision as needed.
• Escort or transport students to and from classrooms as required.
• Assist in assessing student progress and proctoring tests.
