Qualifications

• One year of increasingly responsible experience in education, child care, or related field preferred.
• Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; writes simple correspondence; presents information clearly in one-on-one and small groups.
• Adds and subtracts two-digit numbers; works with money, measurement, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily schedule and assignments.
• Assists students with personal hygiene needs (e.g., toileting, diapering, dressing) as directed by the teacher.
• Assists with implementing classroom and/or individual behavior management systems.
• Provides care, well-being, and supervision of students with disabilities under the direction of the teacher.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
