Location: Florida, US - Remote. Candidates must be based and licensed in Florida to be considered.

Job Summary

As an Escrow Officer at One Real Title, you will facilitate smooth transactions by overseeing the closing process, managing escrow accounts, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your attention to detail and communication skills are essential for success.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Manage escrow transactions from opening to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
2. Communicate effectively with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents throughout the process.
3. Review and analyze title reports, surveys, and legal documents to identify issues.
4. Coordinate with title examiners, attorneys, and insurance companies to resolve title issues.
5. Prepare closing documents and ensure timely completion.
6. Conduct closings per regulations and policies, addressing questions or concerns.
7. Oversee disbursement of funds and recording of documents post-closing.
8. Maintain accurate transaction records, ensuring confidentiality.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Required Skills/Abilities

1. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, escrow management systems; experience with Doubletime or Qualia is a plus.
5. Knowledge of real estate laws and procedures specific to the market.

Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in real estate is a plus.
2. 3+ years of experience in escrow, title services, and real estate transactions.
3. Notary certification preferred.
4. Active Escrow Officer license is a plus.
