Job summary

GM Performance Power Units is seeking an ERS Assembly Technician to support the assembly, servicing, and operational readiness of high‑voltage systems within our Formula 1 power unit at the GMPPU Concord facility.

Based onsite, you will follow technical drawings, build specifications, and procedures; perform in‑process and final quality checks, and capture build data in the ERP system to ensure traceability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electronics assembly and high-voltage components.
• Experience with laser welding and quality control.
• Proficient in ERP systems for work orders and inventory.
• Experience in an ESD-sensitive and clean-room setting.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Experience in motorsport/high-performance environments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, service, and maintain prototype ERS components including HV battery and electronics.
• Prepare ERS assemblies for testing, dyno operations, and trackside deployment.
• Follow drawings, specs, and procedures; perform quality checks.
• Record build data in ERP for traceability.
• Identify and log quality or assembly issues in quality systems.
