Job summary

SanMar-Internal in Avondale, Arizona is seeking a dedicated Error Resolution role responsible for resolving discrepancies with shipments and inventory. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma and 1-3 years of warehouse experience.

This position requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. The employee will also need to meet physical demands such as lifting up to 60 pounds and may be required to operate powered equipment.

Overview

The Error Resolution role researches and resolves any discrepancies with shipments, locations, or product. They are responsible for quickly and accurately locating missing product to complete and ship customer orders in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies with shipments, inventory, and orders and adjust inventory quantities.
• Understand and accurately process ship short orders.
• Properly identify, correct, and record mill errors.
• Review selected customer orders prior to shipping.
• MAY BE REQUIRED to operate powered lift equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Positive, supportive attitude toward company, job, customers, and co-workers.
• May be required to complete and maintain SanMar’s Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA recommendation.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.

Benefits

Paid Time Off: accrue weekly based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Includes 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Physical Demands

Employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 60 pounds, stands, walks, and may operate powered equipment. Requires reaching, grasping, repetitive hand motions, climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, and bending. Vision requirements: close, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May require headset and PPE such as protective harness. Work environment can be noisy, dusty, with exposure to extreme temperatures.
