IDR is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity with hybrid onsite in Salt Lake City, UT. The role supports financial operations during an ERP implementation, focusing on investments and treasury activities.

Key duties include journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR processing, and invoicing. Strong Excel skills and GAAP knowledge are essential to ensure accurate reporting and process improvements during the transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience with grants, research projects, and clinical trials.
• Proficiency in AP and AR processes, invoicing, journal entries, and reconciliation.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially related to investments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.

Responsibilities

• Provides critical support for the organizations financial operations during a major system implementation.
• Assists with treasury and investment accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
• Prepares journal entries, reconciles accounts, and manages invoicing and AP/AR processes.
• Presents data clearly to stakeholders and recommends process improvements in workflows.
• Works independently in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
