Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. seeks an ERP Solution Architect in Granite City, IL (onsite or hybrid). This role defines ERP and related system architectures, collaborating with business and tech teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions and roadmaps.

The candidate should have 7+ years in enterprise applications and deep knowledge of APIs, data security, cloud/on-prem environments, and modern software practices. Base salary $115k–$125k with potential performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Seven+ years in enterprise applications or solution architecture.
• Experience designing and modernizing integrated enterprise solutions.
• Knowledge of relational databases, APIs, data architecture, security, IAM.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain current-state, future-state, and transition architectures for ERP and connected business applications.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solution designs and technical roadmaps.
• Establish architecture standards for applications, data, integrations, security, environments, testing, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Design and govern integrations among ERP platforms, databases, cloud services, reporting tools, and third-party applications.
• Evaluate technology options and recommend solutions based on business value, scalability, security, cost, risk, and supportability.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to developers, administrators, project teams, vendors, and business partners.
• Support modernization, implementation, upgrade, migration, and continuous-improvement initiatives from design through stabilization.
• Guide resolution of complex technical issues, maintain documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
