Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a Developer I in Mansfield, TX to develop and maintain software per stories and designs. You will follow established procedures, contribute to estimates, and work in a team or independently.

You should hold a BS in Computer Science or related field (or 4+ years of relevant experience) and be proficient in languages such as BASIC, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and with HTML/XML. This role offers growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Read, develop, and troubleshoot software across languages and platforms.
• Experience reading, developing, and debugging code in BASIC, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL; HTML/XML.
• Translate and implement logic from technical specifications.
• Understand software design concepts and architecture; learn new skills.
• Know business needs and relate them to technical solutions.
• Knowledge of hardware, networking, OS, and databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team or solo work.
• Familiar with Waterfall or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with NoSQL databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using programming concepts and processes.
• Work conforming to procedures and standards.
