Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking an experienced Testing and QA Lead for its global ERP modernization. In this advanced-professional, individual contributor role, you will lead testing across releases, coordinate resources, and ensure quality and reliability of the ERP system.

You will collaborate with functional, technical, and architecture teams, manage defect tracking and UAT, and drive documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, business, or related field.
• 7 years of software testing and QA experience, preferably in a large ERP implementation.
• Strong testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with defect tracking systems and QA best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: Certification in Software Testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing phases across all releases.
• Allocate test resources efficiently to various testing activities.
• Plan tests with functional, technical, and architecture teams.
• Determine testing tenant requirements and tools.
• Oversee testers’ work from plan to execution.
• Coordinate defect resolution during system implementation testing and UAT.
• Manage defect tracking and migration of defects.
• Define defect tracking within the development process.
• Maintain documentation of testing processes, results, and defects.
• Provide training and support on testing processes and tools.
• Identify opportunities for improving testing processes.
