JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Manager leads the multi‑year implementation of Cambro’s Infor XA ERP program, coordinating both technical and business transformation across all functional areas. The role drives planning, design, and execution of the ERP solution architecture and oversees the high‑quality delivery of the new platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the planning, design, and execution of the ERP solution architecture.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external system integrators.
- Champion standardized global business processes and guide organizational change efforts.
- Support communication and training to ensure consistent adoption of the new ERP platform.
- Align workstreams, resolve cross‑department dependencies, and maintain an integrated approach to the program.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise, methodologies, tools, and techniques to support ERP program activities.
- Manage and resolve complex business issues arising from new processes or procedures, escalating decisions as appropriate.
- Ensure adoption of the systems and business process redesign, helping to build capacities throughout the organization.
- Attend meetings and ensure the efficiency of the ERP decision‑making process.
- Work as part of the leadership team on ERP direction, ensuring process, people, and technology alignment.
- Work with the Core Team, IT, Business Leadership, and implementation vendors to create a comprehensive ERP deployment and rollout strategy.
- Oversee the effective rollout of the ERP solution.
- Coach, mentor, and influence technical and business members.
- Ensure domain‑specific project management tasks for the ERP program are being effectively conducted.
- Manage relationships with product vendors and third‑party consulting partners to meet strategic goals.
- Provide project management oversight for the IT portfolio of projects.
- Ensure change management is fully integrated into ERP deployment planning and rollout strategy.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Create, maintain, and report on KPIs for the program.
- Prioritize remediation efforts for issues and pursue new process improvement opportunities.
- Lead staff through coaching and mentoring, fostering leadership skills in juniors.
- Maintain reliability, punctuality, and dependability to meet departmental needs.
- Adhere to safety procedures, wear PPE, attend safety meetings, and report safety issues.
- Perform effectively as a team member, providing and receiving feedback, and treating everyone with respect.
- Communicate status of work and projects, and accept accountability for own actions.
- Follow department quality standards/criteria, and raise concerns to immediate manager.
- Understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture and core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).
- Contribute to achieving department key performance indicators individually and as a team.
- Other duties as needed or required.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience related to Infor XA implementations with progressive achievement in ERP program management.
- 5+ years of large‑scale project management experience.
- Proficient with common Information Technology nomenclature.
- Excellent knowledge of PMO and development team management.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated crisis management capabilities and ability to adjust to multiple demands and rapid change.
- Creative, innovative thinker, highly motivated and results oriented.
- Collaborative across business, technology, and infrastructure teams to provide seamless solutions.
- Global IT experience is preferred, with 6+ years in IT and business/industry.
- Experience leading large, cross‑functional teams partnered with senior‑level management and stakeholders.
- Experience leading IT tactical operations in complex environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders and business concepts to the IT workforce.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- IT related certifications are preferred.
Physical Demands

- Repetitive use of hands (simple grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation).
- Pushing and pulling, reaching above and below the shoulder.
- Carrying/lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Working around equipment and machinery.
- Exposure to excessive noise, dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals.
- PPE Requirements: Safety glasses, hearing protection (earsplugs or earmuffs), face covering (mask) in accordance with company policy.
Compensation
$120,000 - $138,000
