Job summary

Averro is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead an on-site ERP implementation (Epicor) in Kent, WA, on a 12+ month contract with potential to convert to a permanent role. You will manage the ERP project plan, data migration, testing, training, and cutover, while also handling other software and engineering initiatives supporting customer deliverables.

The role requires strong PM skills, manufacturing experience, and proficiency with Monday.com, MS Project, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, MIS, operations planning, or related field.
• 3-10 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP, sales order management, production scheduling, inventory control, and procurement.
• Advanced MS Project, Excel, and Word skills.
• Monday.com experience, or the aptitude to pick it up quickly.
• Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication and a positive, team-oriented approach to solving problems.
• Nice to have: ERP implementation or migration experience, especially Epicor.
• PMP certification or equivalent training
• Technology or software project backgrounds are welcome

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the project plan and schedule in Monday, with status visible to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate subject matter experts across Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Assembly, Quality, Finance, and Shipping.
• Plan workload so the implementation moves forward without overloading the team or disrupting active customer work.
• Manage change requests and scope questions with Epicor, and elevate cost and schedule impacts.
• Lead data cleanup, validation, and user acceptance testing with process owners.
• Support training, communications, and adoption for users moving off the legacy system.
• Track risks, issues, and budget, and report regularly to leadership and the steering group
